Coaching is a personal development tool where a coach supports a client in achieving personal or professional goals.

Both individuals and groups increasingly use this technique as a business strategy.

Individual coaching, or one-on-one coaching, is designed to help those who wish to make a professional or personal change to their lives. This may involve both a willingness to refine skills and the achievement of a personal goal.

This type of solution is very popular within companies, especially in reference to C-level and management roles which also have more financial resources, which is necessary given the cost of single meetings.

The advantage of one-on-one coaching is given by the personalization of the coach’s intervention based on the needs of the individual, who can thus focus on the challenges, problems and issues that directly affect him.

Furthermore, individual meetings also provide more hourly flexibility, which is essential for those in high-level positions with limited availability.

One-on-one Coaching offers a personalized service based on the person, his needs and the problems he is experiencing on a personal or professional level, something that does not happen within the dynamics of group coaching.

In group coaching, it is assumed that the participating clients share a common goal, which brings them closer and gives them the opportunity to demonstrate their potential and improve interpersonal skills within a collective dynamic.

This tool offers customers a more general, non-targeted view of their work, of what are usually the most frequent problems that hinder the business or the individual professional growth.

The important feature of group coaching is the presence of other people who help stimulate and acquire interpersonal skills.

The statistics relating to group coaching are very positive. In fact, according to a research by the Institute of Coaching, 80% of the people who participated in this type of dynamics declared an increase in self-confidence, 70% noted an improvement in their work performance and their relational skills, while 86% of companies showed a willingness to invest in the coaching of their employees.

This type of scenario therefore favors the learning and the refinement of the competences and the abilities, relational and not, of every individual, exploiting of the potential.
